Project Overview
In accordance with the Lake Wales Connected Plan, the 1st Street Streetscape focuses on narrowing travel lanes while retaining parking on the east side, with street trees in the planting areas on the west, and a buffered cycle track. The design team will produce multiple future state options and construction drawings for the selected long term option.
The City held a kickoff meeting on Friday, February 12, 2021. This page will be updated; check-in often as the project progresses.
